We did it!

Our family was sealed today for time and all eternity in the Manila Philippines Temple. Words cannot describe how I personally feel right now. To say that we are happy would be the understatememnt of the year :) This long-awaited day has finally come, and now we eternally will belong to each other.

We wished more of our family could have been here with us, but considering a lot of you guys are on the other side of the world we knew that wouldn't be possible. Hopefully we can all get together in a few months when we get back to Cali and celebrate it then. Even though you weren't physically with us, we know your love and prayers have been with us always.

The day as a whole went pretty quickly. In the morning, we all got ready and then borrowed our friend's truck. After getting Benjie's truck, we all piled inside (we fit Ryan, Aira, Bethany, Aira's mom and dad, Aira's brother (Dominic) and sister (Arianne), our friends (Benjie and Nanay Gagua) and the two elders from our ward who gave service this week by being our camera and video camera-men :) Needless to say we were packed in there pretty good. But we made it ok, arriving around 9:30am.

There were some initial interviewing/paperwork filing, then we headed inside the temple itself. The ceremony was beautiful, despite bethany being a little squirmy and fussy. I will never forget the moment when Aira, Bethany and I were sealed, no longer to be separated even by death. They looked so beautiful, but what was happening was even more beautiful (if thats possible).

After the sealing we took 1000 pictures outside around the temple grounds (we'll be sure to post more. Aira just wanted to get some up quick that we had on our camera). It was a lot of fun, although at the point i think little Bethany was getting pretty hungry so she's not smiling in too many of the pics (little stinker). Elder Milne from Australia was taking pictures while Elder Shauerhaummer (pronounced shower-hammer) was videoing. There was also another photographer there, although we hadn't hired him or anything taking pictures too. Afterwards I talked to him and hopefully we'll be able to buy some of those pics from him too.

Once the picture taking was done, we headed over to TGIF and had a nice American-style meal :) A little pricey, but definitely worth it. Good food and good company. It was really enjoyable.

So yey for temple sealings! And yey for my sexy hot wife being sealed to me for ever, as well as our cute little Bethany bug. I will be forever grateful for that most special event that took place today!

We are so happy for you Ryan. Maurey and I think about the great example you were/are to Jared. If anyone deserves to be happy it is you after all you have been through. Congratulations.
